Dear Mdm Chua Sock Koong,
I'm a proud customer of singtel for fews years and this will be my second time renewing my contract with singtel. As I also believe that singtel is best as you have been given a Computerworld Customer Care Awards 2016 and Process Excellence Week (PEX) Week 2016.
2. As a consumer, I have encountered few problems being with singtel. I wish to bring to your attention of work process and customer's feelings.
a. Currently my Singtel Mio have been disturped since 25th December 2016, as the mio box is down. I have the neccessary call with the customer care for assistance and was told since then to come to change on my own as my contract has already expired. If i want the box to be change and the technical person to come down to my house, I need to renew my contract.
b. Similar happenings did happen to me as I was unfortunate that my internet modemn was late october last year, i was receiving low connectivity for wifi and when the technical deparment assisted me, it made the problem worse and made the modemn was crashed. I had to personnally proceed to Ubi to make a change the modemn on my own and which i did and causes lots of inconvenience as the afternoon was raining heavyly.
c. Wiring inside and outside of the house was not done proper. Inside, due to short wiring, placement of the modemn was not centralised in the house which causes low connectivity for WiFi. Outside of the house, exposed wiring done unprofessionally which may be easily tampered by outsiders as Im staying in HDB flat.
3. The reason for me writing to you is to bring your attention that i have been getting lots inconvenience and disrupted programmes but still making my payment monthly without failure. It will be great that you could explore on the work process with technical department.
4. My feelings towards the services, i was denied to ask technical to come for change of the both modemn and mio box as both of it are old version box. As a prestige member of singtel, I felt that singtel is forcing me to renew the contract then I can be attended to my needs.
