Dear Michae I am contacting you from The Big Issue magazine about a great initiative – Michael OLeary email address

MICHAEL sent a message to Michael O’Leary – CEO, Ryanair – Email Address that said:

Dear Michael

I am contacting you from The Big Issue magazine about a great initiative we have in place to help some of the most vulnerable people in the UK. We are looking to get as many great companies on board and we already have organisations such as Easyjet, The British Land Company, Burberry, Tesco, LDC, Clydesdale Bank, Royal Mail and Standard Chartered signed up.

The Big Issue is asking organisations to take out a Subscription to the magazine and participate in a partnership initiative with us -

"Off-street" circulation supporting our "on-Street business" which supports the lives of individuals and families across the UK

By providing a simple and easy to deliver opportunity for businesses of all kinds, The Big Issue is building a network of partners as a means of supporting our core business, which helps thousands of people across the UK rebuild their lives.
Corporate subscriptions help build our circulation and improve our advertising revenues but, most significantly, will contribute directly to the development and pastoral work in which we engage on a daily basis with Big Issue sellers. We also have a vendor employment scheme where we currently employ a vendor to help fulfil subscriptions, helping them to gain new skills and have a day off from selling on the street.

Each annual subscription is £250 although we try to encourage larger firms take out as many as 100. In return, not only do you receive the magazine, but we will also provide partners with an annual CSR report describing the contribution that they have made to the lives of our sellers, and we can highlight the work of our partners on our website.

You can see some of our current supporters
As the founder John Bird recently noted, “We have found over the years that buying a subscription does not lead to a fall in street support, but often works as an encourager.” It would be great to have you involved.

I appreciate Ryanair is an Irish airline, but obviously it has widespread operations in the UK so think it would be a good fit.

Please let me know if you would like to get involved by just dropping me an email

Best wishes

Mike
