Dear Mr. Agnefjall,I’m a wife and mother and love Ikea. I moved from Seattle – Peter Agne email address

Nicole sent a message to Peter Agne President and CEO, IKEA that said:

Dear Mr. Agnefjall,

I'm a wife and mother and love Ikea. I moved from Seattle, Wa. to Nampa, Idaho 12 years ago. Has your company considered a store in Nampa? Here is why you should:

1: Boise, Idaho is the third largest city in the Pacific Northwest. It's neighbor, Nampa, Idaho is quickly growing and is the second largest city in Idaho.

2: The Boise-Nampa metropolitan area, also known as the Treasure Valley, includes five counties with a combined population of more than 650,000, the most populous metropolitan area in Idaho. It contains the state's three largest cities; Boise, Nampa, and Meridian.

3: Boise is going through major cunstruction already, and is burdened by an inadequate road system, traffic is very congested.

4. A Nampa, Idaho location will not only draw customers from Boise, Meridian, quickly growing Middleton, Caldwell and outlying cities, but also from our close neighbours in Eastern Oregon. Customers in Eastern Oregon must cross a mountain pass to get to a store in Portland or Seattle. Nampa, Idaho would be a relatively short, comfortable drive for those in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington as well.

Don't get me wrong, if there is a store anywhere in Idaho I'm sure I'll make the drive to it! I'm not sure if your company is even considering a store in Idaho. But if you are or if you aren't, I think a store in Nampa Idaho would be extremely successful. And of course I would enjoy having the store here too.

Have a wonderful day!
Respectfully,
Nicole
