Dear Mr. Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota Motors On Sunday, January 22, 2017 I went – Akio Toyoda email address

Eduardo sent a message to Akio Toyoda President and CEO, Toyota Motor Corporation – email address that said:

Dear Mr. Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota Motors,

On Sunday, January 22, 2017 I went to Capital Toyota The sales person, Guillerm, did his job with showing me a used 2015 Ford Escape hybrid. But the rude Sales Manager, who did not identify himself to me, put me down for using Edmunds.com, the Kelly BlackBook, Galves, and similar price quotes from CarMax.

The sticker price was $20,995 and I made an offer for $18,500. But he was so busy putting my research down that I don't even think he heard my offer. He insisted that only the Retail Kelly Blue Book was the best source to establish a price. The negotiation did not end well. I am an ex-banker and currently a Professor of Economics. Doing in-depth research in order to make a reasonable offer should not be met with such rudeness.

I will make sure that my 600+ annual San Francisco Bay Area MBA and college students are aware of this dealership plus my social media contacts. I was a proud owner of a former Toyota Camry, but I am not a fan of your sales tactics that are designed to ruin business and public goodwill.

Sincerely,
Eduardo
