Dr. Wayman sent a message to Mark Bertolini – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aetna – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Bertilini:
I am presently in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and have been in and out of hospitals and rehabs since June 17th ,2016. I have not been at home consistently and did not know my august payment did not clear, yet my september payment was accepted by the company. I was told that aetna contacted me about this but never got a response from me, and that is true due to my frequent hospitalizations and illness. No one at Aetna or the Marketplace will reinstate my insurance and I am so far out there on a limb with a possible rehab or home health without health insurance. The hospital has applied for medicaid and that will pay their bill but then medicaid will stop and I will have nothing ,and may die without medicine or my doctors. I have blood clots in my legs and heart and peripheral artery disease as well as aphibulation.
I am willing to pay whatever I owe but please don't let me die. I am begging for your help, please, what if this were happening to you. I beg for your assistance in this matter. Please let the Lord guide you. I am begging.
