My name is Gavin and I have an idea that would, in the long run, cut the cost of an oil spill if one was to occur. You could put a floating super absorbent booms around the oil rig and if a spill was to occur the oil would stay to the top and the men and women on bored the rig would pull the booms in and ultimately cut down on the size of an oil spill.
