Mr. Schwartz sent a message to Brian Krzanich CEO, Intel Corporation – email address that said:
Dear Mr. CEO:
I have been encountering major problems with the
McAfee Total Protection for months now.
I am getting nowhere with your call center people
in India, the Phiilipines
I have had McAfee for well over 10 years and my
total protection screen has been showing the
message UNDEFINED % FOR A LONG TIME. The
people in Texas(Mr. Robinson, WEatherly, Busch,
etc. tell me it is a browser problem and that I will
be charged an additional $69 for a 7 day fix.
I do not know how a Total Protection does not cover
ALL issues. I would never have taken it out if I thought I would be gauged for more money.
I find this very distressing and I would expect that
you address this issue.
I own Intel stock and have relatives who work for
Intel in Portland, OR.
I do not like to be gauged for more money and $69
for a 7 day guarantee on a fix is highway robbery.
If you do not get back to me, I will go with another
more honest broker.
I do not like firms that take good, loyal customers
for more money. That is a disastrous way to run
your business.
