Hannes sent a message to Jerry DeMuro – President and CEO, BAE Systems plc – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr DeMuro
We have previously contacted you with an innovative solution to city parking.
(See letter of March 1, 2016)
In the meantime, the City of Miami has contacted us. Due to their urgent central downtown parking problem, they have asked us to find a manufacturing partner (shipyard) with whom to collaborate for introducing the first U-Park in the United States, and indeed, the world.
Miami has a city-owned, unused slip in the center of American Airlines Arena where they would like to position the U-Park. A highly respected law firm champions the project, and they would propose a Public-Private Partnership for funding. City Commissioner Ken Russell is keen on proceeding. He also heads the "Downtown Development Authority" which promotes economic development in Miami. They’ve asked us to prepare and deliver an unsolicited proposal.
BAE has a base nearby in Florida. Would you be interested in participating on a
collaboration as our manufacturing partner? We would be very happy if you would recognize the business potential in our collaboration, as innumerable cities worldwide face the same problem – a problem U-Parks economically and pragmatically solve. We are attaching the briefing information here one more time for your convenience.
A person-to-person conversation via Skype in German or in English might be
advisable. Please let us know if you are interested.
Looking forward to your feedback.
