May I introduce Charlize Dusosky (age 11) who is a model represented by MTM and Agency (in Minneapolis), and is very serious about a career in modeling and acting. Out of 150 people from Minneapolis, who auditioned for a spot at the 2018 NY International Modeling and Talent Association Convention, Charlize was 1 of 27 who were invited to attend.
There is an opportunity for you to help sponsor an aspiring model/actress to compete at the International Modeling and Talent Association in NY, July 2018 Convention.
Established in 1987, IMTA is an organization comprised of leading modeling/talent training centers and agencies from around the world engaged in the professional promotion of the fashion and talent industry. At IMTAs semi-annual Conventions, more than 200 top fashion and talent agents, managers, casting directors and industry professionals participate as judges and scouts during the action-packed, week- long event. Aspiring models, actors, singers and dancers compete on runways and stages in live and recorded competitions, interview with agents and managers interested in them for representation, and attend workshops and seminars offered by industry experts. In addition to the modeling and talent awards, numerous educational scholarships and cash grants are given toward advanced training opportunities.
The models and talent who participate in the convention are seen by modeling and talent agencies from every major market in the US, as well as Europe and Asia. Many of the models and talent you see in magazines, on television and in feature films received their start at an International Modeling and Talent Association Convention. A lot of new faces will be discovered at the New York Convention this July, and Charlize is hoping to be one of them.
Charlize is going to sell raffle tickets, candy bars, host a family garage sale, and donate half of her modeling earnings from now until July to earn her trip to New York. We are reaching out to you to see if you would be interested in sponsoring her for this event. Sponsors donating $100 or more (total trip will be $5000 which includes flights and hotels, $3995 for just the event) will be listed in the IMTA Program Book. This Program Book is presented to all agents and other prestigious guests attending the Convention.
We would also be willing to work out Charlize modeling for Dillards, in exchange for the sponsorship, with parent supervision.
Charlize is very excited about this opportunity. Although she is just starting out, we have been told she is extremely marketable. We are hoping this trip will offer a great learning experience, as well as introduce her to some exposure that she may not have in our small town in Minnesota.
