Dear Mr. Fowke:

I have an outstanding issue with my Xcel Energy service that I am hoping we can compromise an agreement. My residential service was disconnected in early June of 2017. I had a bill from a previous residence that went unpaid due to circumstances that are noted on my account. When I got new service at my current address, I did not deny owing the bill at my previous address. I informed customer service that I could not afford the past due amount and payment arrangements. You will see all of the documentation. I have offered to make a payment of $2000.00 and resume the previous pay arrangement. The $2000.00 exceeds to amount that would have been paid in monthly installments. I do not have the funds to pay the entire past due amount. I believe this is a far better solution than me potentially filing bankruptcy, which would not be a favorable resolution for Xcel Energy or me. I do believe this is a workable solution for all.
