Christine sent a message to Carlos Ghosn President and CEO, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. that said:

Dear Mr. Ghosn,
I really hope that you can help me with this situation.
I purchased a Nissan Qashqai on March 17, 2015 from Massy Motors in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. Sometime in May 2015 while reversing I hit the back of the vehicle. About two weeks after that incident I began hearing a knocking sound from the left rear of the vehicle. Massy Motors indicated that I need to change the left rear shock and the left rear assembly (cradle arm). I took the car into a different location of Massy Motors for a second opinion. That service department at that location also agreed with the initial diagnosis.
I imported the shock (Nissan: E62104EA3B (STOSSDAEMPFER)) from Germany and the left arm assembly rear  from London, and both were installed on September 30, 2015. However, the problem still persists. I have returned the vehicle to Massy Motors on two occasions (November 23, 2015 and January 8, 2016) to no avail. The technical team there indicated that they had to contact Mexico for a solution since several Qashqai vehicles were reported having a similar issue. But since January 8, 2016, when they attempted the fix recommended by Mexico which failed, I have yet to receive any word from them. I am left now six months after the parts were installed, with a vehicle that still has the original problem, after spending378.99 and £606 to purchase and import the shock and rear assembly, respectively.
Please help.
Regards and thanks,
Christine
