Khalid sent a message to Greg Creed – Chief Executive Officer of Yum Brands – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. GREG
Greetings,
sorry to drop to you in this way but i believe what happened is important and i could not find any Email to contact YUM management or Pizza Hut for the issue happened to me.
I’m sending you this Email to notify YUM with the unacceptable issue occurs with my kid yesterday 9.10.2016 from one of Pizza Hut in the branch at City Center –Seeb - Oman
My kid approached your branch to buy a bottle of Water and the Pizza Hut staff tried to get her number and asked her to be her close friend. From first look you may feel this is a normal friendly approach but when you know that my kid is only 10 years old and your staff is over 20 years old you can feel the catastrophe in this.
My wife was shocked when my kid notified her with the accident as she was also shaking from fear and my wife had to settle her down for more than 10 minutes assuring her that nothing is going to happen and she did the right thing to inform us about the accident.
My wife called me and we called the City center security team and they thankfully handled it well assuring us that this person will not stay in contact of kids any more in city centre and that they will inform Pizza Hut management to take proper action. They also took my mobile number as I requested to be notified with what actions Pizza Hut will do against such case.
Yesterday night my kid had trouble in sleeping and I really do not know what sociological effects this had on her.
Dear Sir,
I would like to draw your attention to the following:
1. The person who did that was a member of Pizza Hut staff wearing its LOGO and representing the Company in front of all customers.
2. Any action Pizza Hut staff do is a reflect of the Company image and reputation.
3. Up till I wrote this Email no one from Pizza Hut management contacted me in which this raises a deep concern on the Management approach against such big accident.
4. During the investigation City Center security team was conducting no one from Pizza Hut branch management attended and the staff was left alone in the investigation in which it indicates either no management was available during this time and the branch was left uncontrolled or no interest had the management to be involved in an accident one her staff did against a customer and both in my opinion should not happen.
5. Any staff who will be in direct Contact with customers specially kids and girls and in our Omani society should be conducted and prepared before exposing then to customers
Thus, and from the above I reserve me and my kids rights against Pizza Hut under the law of Oman and international laws and request Pizza Hut Management to revert back with a solution to this issue.
Regards,
Khalid
