Dear Mr. Hayes,
First let me say that Jet blue is my first choice to fly on when traveling from the east coast to the west coast.
With that said I am asking you for help with an issue I am having with Jet blue.
In June 2016 I booked 6 flights for my son, daughter in law, and their 4 children to come and visit us in
las vegas, nv. I purchased the tickets on my credit card as they do not have any credit cards. I put 5 tickets on confirmation number OCGKKJ WHICH DID NOT have any baggage on it. i purchased on my credit card 1 ticket on confirmation number RRKCQX WHICH WAS A BLUE PLUS FAIR this fair option included 1 checked bag.
When they arrived at the airport on tuesday 8/23/16 the curbside check in person charged them for 1 bag $25.00 plus 2.00 for curbside check in, I do not have a problem with the curbside cost because my son is handicapped and needs to have a wheelchair. The curbside agent forced them to buy a jet blue gift card or credit card for an additional 5.00 plus $25.00 to pay for the bag that I previously paid for on Andréa Orourke's ticket, then he kept the gift card never releasing it to my son, and if that wasn't enough he insisted that they give him a $5.00 tip and was extremely rude to them. He never said anything when he checked Andrea in about the prepaid bag.
i spoke to Rachael who is the customer service manger and explained all of this. since we didn't have the gift card that ended in 8681 she said she could only credit my jet blue travel account. This credit could only be used for airline tickets and not baggage and would expire with in 1 year. Please tell me why I can't get my money back that was laid out . I feel like you are holding my money hostage and if i don't travel within 1 year I will lose my money. This is completely absurd and unacceptable . I am told by your customer service manger that there is nothing she can do beyond this point. Please feel free to contact me . I hope you can help me with the matter.
