Dear Mr. Hayes, I am an elementary school teacher from Providence, Rhode Island. I am writing to you out of frustration in respect to the the escalated airfares during school vacations. In searching flights from both Providence and Boston to Los Angeles for April school vacation I noticed that travel before or after these dates is much more reasonable. I wonder if you would consider a teacher discount on airfares especially during the February and April vacation dates. Educators work incredibly hard and make do on a moderate income. The difference between a $350 and $500 airfare may not seem like much but I assure you it makes all the difference to the budget conscious traveler. I congratulate you on your new position with JetBlue and hope that you will seriously consider this proposal. Thank you for your time.
