Dear Sir or Madam or Madam CEO
I am 66 and have been a long time JetBlue customer. At 66 the most important asset I have is not money but my time. No one wastes my time more than Jet Blue.
Before I was retired I billed out at $500.00 per hour. Please send to me the $8,100.00 you owe me.
I am once again seriously disappointed in Jet Blue. During this past Winter we wasted 8 hours of our time. I checked 2 hours before flight time to insure our flight to PBI from Logan on or about January 1 was on time. I was assured it was. When we got to the airport the flight was posted as a 6 hour delay.(8 hours) We wasted time and money returning to Logan. We decided not to wait at the airport and returned home, We came back at the appointed time and we were delayed 3 more hours.(3 hours)
Today, we called before we left and we were assured that the flight was on time. We went to Logan. We checked in and went to the gate. I asked the gate agent if the flight was on time and was told in a polite fashion he had to finsih his work on the present flight. An hour later we were told a geral announcement the flight was cancelled. We were given the option to wait 6.5 hours for the PBI flight or take one to Fort Lauderdale. which would arrive 4 hours late. We selected the Fort Lauderdale flight. We arrived 4,5 hours late.(4.5 hours) Then we had to spend $100.00 to get a ride from Fort Lauderdale to Jupiter Florida (near PBI). the ride also takes an hour.(1 hour plus $100.00)
I calculate a total of $8,100.0 that Jet Blue owes me . Please send me a check for this amount or please inform me of the rules for the maximum a passenger can receive from an airline for breaking the flight rules as JetBlue has done. Please also add to this check the maximum amount of money to which my wife is entitled as well.
