Dear Mr. Hayes My wife and I booked a flight from Orlando to Austin (return flight) – Robin Hayes email address

Stephen Jessee sent a message to Robin Hayes - Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of JetBlue Airways Corporation - Email Address that said:

Dear Mr. Hayes

My wife and I booked a flight from Orlando to Austin (return flight) confirmation JRRUBV for March 1, 2017. We made this reservation months ago. My wife has recently been diagnosed with pnemonia and we are unable to fly to Orlando (a different airline) for our trip and wont be using our Orlando to Austin flight.
The other airline, Frontier, has a policy that allows a passenger to submit a letter from his/her doctor along with a standard form and the airline will give the travelers a credit for what they paid. Your representative told me that Jet Blue doesnt have such a policy. Knowing Jet Blue and Frontier, I would have thought that it would be the reverse.
Im writing to you to ask if you might make an exception so that we could get a refund or have a credit balance with Jet Blue. Obviously, I would expect that you would need a letter from my wifes doctor (on her office stationary) stating why my wife - an me - cant go on this trip.
I look forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you,

Stephen A. Jessee
