Dear Mr. Henslee,
I recently visited one of your stores in Fort Valley, Georgia. Before I entered the store I spoke to a gentleman that I have known for a long and we enter in together. Upon my entrance I noticed your staff (two ladies and the manager) working and surfing the web. One of the ladies stopped and ask if they could help and I asked for a quart of oil for my car. She asked what typed and brand. I told her 10w30 and it didnt matter the brand because I knew I was getting it changed. She proceed to get the item I requested and while she was doing that I asked the manager (John) would he check it and if it was low put the oil in for me, John the manager asked me "Who did you walk in with"? I informed him that I was alone but why would it matter who I came in with. He proceeds to say I thought the person you was with was your man, son or spouse and I was going to teach him how to do it. I later told him I was alone. As I got ready to pay for my item the lady asked him was he going to take care of it. He gave her a very sarcastic look and said " I have to check the oil in that car and put it in for Her", but didn't move. So the lady in return said "Really John" I will do it myself. I told them never mind and walked out.
Being an African American woman I was very hurt and upset because of this. I have always enjoyed coming to O'Reilly for all of my auto parts and never have I been treated this way. I called to speak to the district manager and no response.
Can you please contact me this issue.
Thank you
Janet
