Jerry sent a message to W. Craig Jelinek – President and Chief Executive Officer of Costco Wholesale Corporation email address that said:
Dear Mr. Jelinek I am a long time Costco customer who was forgotten in your switch to the new Citi Visa anywhere card. I was an AX member for many year prior to being a Costo member therefore i will not get a new Visa anywhere card mailed to me. I have to wait till June 20th and apply and wait the 5 to 10 days to get a card, prohibiting me from my weekly purchases for gas and groceries. Why can`t applications for this new card be mailed to those of use who do not current;ly have Costco AX cards? Have you considered the financial loss to Costco for the two plus weeks that we cannot easily shop at your stores? Oh, i know that you take cash but that does not let me buy gas. Most people, including me do not carry cash. I am disappointed that I was left out of your decision making in this change over. Apparently my business was not viewed as important as those with Costco AX cards. Thank you and Sincerely Jerry
