Dear Mr. Jelinek,

I want to bring to your attention the experience I had wth Citibank. I've been using Costco's American Express for years, paying my full balance every month. when I got my Citibank Visa card I called to activate it. I was on hold for over thirty minutes, before I finally hung up. When I activated it online, I found a balance that had transferred over from AmX. I had never received a statement for that amount. Yet Citibank was adding extra charges. I once again had to call Citibank, waiting for over thirty minutes to speak to a custermer representative and straighten out this mess. Which was no fault of mine.
I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with this transition. American Express has always promptly answered all of my phone calls and dealt with any matters in a professional way. Unlike Citibank with long wait times, added charges (that have since been removed after I spent time taking care of this mess) and customer service reps who can barely speak English.
