Ron sent a message to W. Craig Jelinek  President and Chief Executive Officer of Costco Wholesale Corporation email address that said:

Dear Mr Jelinek,
Im a Costco member and have been for years. A few years back I bought a Square Trade warranty from you for a Vizio TV I bought. I was under the impression that if anything goes wrong with my TV Im covered by Square Trade's Warranty. This is not true, its a big scam. They dont cover the the entire TV and I think you should tell your members. They only cover parts, not anything that may go wrong with the TV as far as issues on a Smart TV. Im totally upset by this, and want my $60 dollars back that I spent on this worthless warranty. I believed when I bought it that is what I was getting. It says if we cant fix it on the second try we will refund the cost of the TV; thats a lie. So at this point Im stuck with a TV that I cant use all the features. Since I firmly told them how I felt they are sending me a ROKU device to hook up since they dont cover the apps on a TV, what a lie. They should just replace the TV as stated in warranty and not send a device. I feel scammed, and think Costco should quit selling this warranty, and change to another type of warranty or just not sell them to your members. If you value your customers or tell your customers that it does not REALLY cover the entire TV. As far as Im concerned I got scammed into believing something that is not true. At this point Im tired of dealing with Square Trade and never want to deal with them again. It shouldnt be like this. They just dont want to replace the TV so are sending a fix instead of doing the right thing. Im very dissatisfied and want my money back I spend at Costco for the warranty.
