Lawanda sent a message to Hubert Joly President and CEO, Best Buy – email address that said:

Dear Mr. Joly,

I am emailing you because I have not heard a response from Kelsie, on behalf of Best Buy Stores, who called me before Christmas after I mailed a letter to you. She told me that she would talk to the manager at the local Best Buy Store where I live in Peoria, Illinois to find out if he would offer me a $759.49 credit towards a new purchase. That is the amount I paid for the computer. Mr. Joly, I am really in need of new computer because, as I stated in the letter, the one I purchased crashed just before final exams. It crashed one day before final exams. It wouldn't even allow me to save documents.  It wouldn't let me save files. It wouldn't complete many of the tasks I needed. I use the computer for the nursing program which I am currently enrolled which is mandated. We take computerized tests. We also use an ATI testing site to prepare us for NCLEX . Mr. Joly, I have a customer of Best Buy for years where I purchased many products from a washer and dryer, televisions, cell phones, and more. I would really appreciate it if you allow me a credit towards a new purchase.
