Let me begin by saying I love Southwest and will continue to love Southwest.
Recently I was interviewed for a position with Southwest as a flight attendant. A dream come true. Everything went smoothly until the employment verification part came into play. The third party company you are working with is extremely unprofessional. They were unable to contact any of my US employers and least of all my Brasilian employers! I had to do it all by phone or through tax documentation. All this took a month worth of calls and emails. I can go into details but I dont know how much time I have to catch your attention.
The point is, I did not get the job because I was not able to help them get in contact with my employers from Brasil through a web associated email or phone number. They would not speak to them directly! I explained that these employers have NO Human Respurce dept, nor do they have a large/permanent staff at any given time. Things do not work the same outside the U.S., nor do they uphold quality standards.
Anyways, I just wanted you to know you lost an excellent flight attendant and you have probably lost many already and will continue to loose them unless you look into this incredibly flawed system.
