Dear Mr King, I have banked with BBT since it was United Carolina Bank for over 20 yrs I went into the Ripley WV Branch to open a savings account on February 2nd, today I checked my credit report because I just paid off a $7,500 credit card. What to my surprise I see is a hard inquiry from BBT Michele D. Sargent. I am going up the chain of command because this is Fraud!! You do not do a hard inquiry on a client opening a savings account.
