Dear Mr. Lampert,
I know Sears is slowing going away, but please please dont close the Sears store in Lansing, MI.
Ive been going there since my Grandmother took me in the 1960s and I still shop there.
This store in Lansing always seems to be pretty busy all the time. This is my most favorite place to shop for clothes. They have the best variety and at the best prices.
Why not keep this open. And because its the only store left it would serve as an icon for people from all over the country to come and visit because of all the memories theyve had shopping there. You could decorate the store with old photos from the very first time Sears opened and have showcases or photos from the days of catalog ordering. And maybe even open up a new candy station. You know ...the one with all the declicious chocolates and different colored candies behind the glass case youd drool over as a child. Now that might be something to bring back from those good ole days. Yeah...I know Im dreaming. I just love this Sears store and I hate to see its doors close. It will be a sad day for me and Im sure many others.
Anyways...thank you for your time Mr. Lampert.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
