DESMOND sent a message to Edward Lampert – Chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Lampert I just wanted e-mail you with the problem I have had with a purchase of a lawnmower with our local Sear's store in Harrison, ar. I purchased the mower at a discounted price due to it being returned to the store.I was assured by the salesmen it was under warrenty just like a new one and the repairs would be taken care of. The sears store sent out DKC service to look at after a two week wait. After that they said they would not repair it because it cost to much and would'nt replace it due to the discounted price so they would just refund my money. I have talked to to several Sears employees on several different numbers with the last was told they would send DKC out to take photos and then they will make a detemination. This may be a small issue to you, but I feel I was sold a damaged product that if the store had checked out properly, probably would'nt be sold. To me this is not a good bussiness practice and not my fault,I just wanted it repaired. I am retired manager of anouther furtune 500 company and our bussiness would never allow customers to be so unhappy and take a chance to loose a 40 year customer.
Thank you for consideration in this matter
