Dear Mr. Larian
I am a Persian composer, Pianist and a senior student at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I'm writing this email to reach out to the Iranian American community of art supporters and donors in the United States to kindly assist me in funding my last year of college education.
Affected by the severe universal sanctions and the depreciation in Iranian currency, my family’s wealth and funding for college decreased to a third of its value since beginning of college. With a GPA of 3.82 and multiple honors and achievements, I was awarded $14500 in scholarships last year to be able to continue my studies. Unfortunately this amount partially covers the tuition costs for my last year of college and a great total still remains.
I would appreciate any assistance (absolutely anything!) you could offer and would love to get in touch with you to further to explain my situation, activities and multiple ways I could pay back your generosity.
Mr. Larian, I have great goals and dreams. It is evident our authentic folk and traditional Persian music has yet to receive the universal recognition it deserves. Since coming to the United States, I have strived to the best of my abilities to reach my goal of introducing and spreading our Persia’s mesmerizing music with my surrounding community through collaborations with renowned artists and musical fusions with various contemporary genres. My recent project 'Time for Tranquility’ has aimed to spread peace, redefine cultural borders and conflicts between the nations in the Middle East especially Iran and Israel. With member from Israel and Iran, the project aims to portray the seamless and remarkable collaborations and relationships among the Iranian Israeli community, as music indeed surpasses words
