Greetings for the day!
I, Karsanbhai, residing 21 – Janta Society, “Mohan” , Ravapar Road,
I know that, Samsung is renowned name in electronics industries and have been using your products since long and are happy.
In the year 2014 I have purchased SAMSUNG LED TV of 55 inch from M/s. Radheshayam Electronics – Sadhna Complex, Shop no: 9 10, 1st floor, Above Radheshayam Provision Store, Ravapar Road,
So far we were happy and enjoying performance as well watching with great feeling that, we choose the right product. This enjoyment did not last and on 02.10.2016 it got a problem.
The problem started about the beginning of this October -2016. The television is connected to cable box. When the television is on, and is taking a long time to turn on the screen picture, approx time between 3 to 9 minutes every time when you put on.
We have observed 2 days and got the cable box and our switch board checked which was working properly and concluded that, there will be some minor problem in television itself.
As television was under warranty, on 03.10.2016 we have approached the dealer M/s. Radheshayam Electronics – Morbi who has requested to contact Mr. Jaiminbhai at his mobile at Rajkot – Gujarat for the problem.
Contacted Mr. Jaiminbhai at Rajkot who has lodge our request and given complain no and assigned engineer Mr. Bhalodiya who has visited on 19.10.2016 the fault of CB as per service order and advise us to arrange to send at their service centre at Rajkot at M/s. Maruti Electronics, Near Om Street to carryout replacement of the card only which will take at least one week time.
As the time taken by them was more and have enquired on and understood from him that, they have asked Mr. Lohar - from Ahmedabad centre to send the said parts. Mr. Jaiminbhai has given telephone number of him and when contacted, assured us to deliver within 2 days only and given us tracking
We have awaited and when we have again approached we came to know from them that, this model is obsolete and are not being produce by company and will take time.
We do not have any alternate but to wait and after few days we have made phone call through one of my friend who is working for consumer forum to whom also he has promised to get the things done within 2 days time but in vain in spite of keeping television more than a month, not done anything and deteriorate more and must have removed some parts from television as now screen appear as black-blank only without any picture and sound. The condition is worse than we handed over to them.
When we pointed out that, earlier everything was okay except the problem of time taken by screen but now no screen, no sound at all. On which they said that it has been returned as it is and not done
As per Mr. Lohar - from Ahmedabad centre the screen of Led television is not working and has to replace for which an expense will be
We have contacted Mr. Jaiminbhai of M/s. Maruti Electronics, Near Om Street, Rajkot who has told that, he will be presenting this case to company and company will be considering 17% depreciation per year and will return the balance against your invoice. After a time of 15 days when we called him he informed that, since television is reparable and hence company will not be able to refund money and informed us that, he has customer who is interested to buy and ready to take at the cost of INR-70000.00.
Now I wonder, as they have initially stated that, the problem with the card only and not with LED screen (Light Emitting Diode) and now how can they say that, screen have to be change.
Now the great thing is that, if one pays INR-70000.00 for this television which is not working and to get it repaired one have to bear the cost INR-155000.00 means total cost will be INR-225000.00. Who will buy this repaired television as in this price you get much better new models.
I got unnecessary mental harassments from your dealers instead of taking correct step they have ignored and misguiding and their attitude is totally suspicious.
On 23.11.2016 evening when called to Mr. Lohar – Ahmedabad to find out fate of this, that you are telling repairing cost will be INR-155000.00 and on other hand Mr. Jaiminbhai is offering to buy this television at INR-70000.00, how it is possible. It seems that, you both are misguiding customers and cheating. On which he got excited and started using bad language, which one cannot put it on paper and did mention that, you through your television in to the river and you go anywhere in Gujarat, nobody will take your issue in hand.
One cannot accept this type of attitude from the renewed electronics manufacturer’s dealers. This type of behavior ruins the reputation earn by the SAMSUNG.
I am really don’t know what to do, feeling guilty to choosing Samsung and have to suffer a lot and cannot concentrate on my work as I have purchased with my harden money.
Request you to kindly look in to it and arrange to replace my television - LED TV of 55 inch
