Deryl sent a message to Matthew S. Levatich – President and Chief Executive Officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr Levatich, I hate to bother you with this but we are at the end of our rope and do not know where to turn next. My son in law Lloyd de la Garza purchased a trike from Desperador HD in McAllen Texas. He was killed on the way home and his wife (our daughter) was hurt bad. Motorcycle is in lock down until insurance is settled. All his wife wants, is to see the contract he signed, it was not with the possessions that we picked up and I do not know what happened to it. His wife has requested that the store sent her a copy of the contract, which they simply will refuse to do. His wife wants to see if they possibly had taken out a life insurance. She cannot remember anything about the wreck since she has a severe concussion. I just do not understand why they won't give her a copy of the sale contract. They finally sent a copy of some gap insurance which we really do not know what it is for, all she wants is to see in writingif he did or did not take out a life insurance for the financed amount. I know it is asking a lot from a CEO but any help would be so much appreciated . Our daughter is simply not strong enough after being hurt bad and mourning her husband of 5 weeks , to make all these calls and getting rejections and we have kind of hit a brick wall and cannot understand why they won't send her a copy of his contract.
Regards Deryl
