Elizabeth sent a message to Terry J. Lundgren- Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Macys, Inc. – email address that said:
Dear Mr. Ludgren,
I am a previous employee of Macy's. I worked for the company in Mays landing,Nj store #80 as a beauty advisor, and due to extenuating circumstances I had to resign. I met with my HR manager, and he advised me to follow the proper protocols for transfer, which I followed. My HR also assured me that. I would receive help with my move, PTO hours, and anything else that Macy's was capable of helping me with. My HR have me a number to contact, for I needed to speak with someone to explain " my" situation. I was a victim of domestic violence, something that I really don't want nor care to share details with strangers, but I followed my HR's instructions, for he said was necessary for the transfer to move smoothly. I have come to find out that this was not necessarily true, for Macy's had no intention of helping me with my move, and to make matters worse, after I expressed my disappointment, I stopped receiving "invitations" to interview, so I then changed my email address and interestingly, I am now receiving invites, and was offered 4 positions, but none have come to fruition, and it get worse..I would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss this extremely emotional, and frustrating situation.
Thank you kindly,
Elizabeth
