Jane sent a message to Terry J. Lundgren- Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Macys, Inc.- email address that said:
Dear Mr. Lundgren-
I have been a loyal Macy's customer for more than 20 years. I have many Star Rewards coupons and promotions to make my shopping experience at your store more cost effective.
Here's my problem- you may as well stop sending me all these incentives if I cant use them. They are so restrictive on what you can and can't use them on its ridiculous. Today I purchased over $80 dollars of merchandise and wasn't allowed to use ANY of my coupons. If I am given these to use, it should be when and what I want to use them on, not what Macy's says.
This has bothered me for awhile so I finally decided to let you know how I felt. I will seriously consider no longer shopping at Macy's.
