Margaret sent a message to Mark W. Willis – CEO, Keller Williams Realty, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Mark Willis,
You probably have clients who will pay $19.5 million for a luxurious condo or a mega mansion but do you have any clients who will pay $19.5 million for 21,000, deeded, contiguous acres in northwestern Colorado? My name is Margaret Culverwell and my husband and I own the Rio Ro Mo which is comprised of 20,930.76 privately-owned acres where the topography is high desert, rolling hills, sage brush and juniper trees.
There are no luxurious homes or exclusive facilities on the ranch. Currently it is a working cattle and hunting ranch. The possibilities to create a private, secluded retreat, racetrack, runway, spa resort, equine center, etc. are endless.
To give you an idea how large our ranch is (including 3,800 government acres within our fences), the ranch is 39 square miles. The land size of Manhatten, New York is less than 23 square miles. The population on our ranch is 2. The population of Manhatten is 1.64 million.
One could create a wildlife sanctuary or hunt the wildlife. Animals one can see on the Rio Ro Mo include elk, deer, antelope, mountain lion, bobcat, coyote, fox, prairie dog, ground squirrel, badger, sage grouse, dove, geese, duck, golden eagle, bald eagle, red tail hawk, falcon, burrowing owl, porcupine, skunk, whistle pig, beaver, raccoon, muskrat, rattlesnake, bull snake, yellow-bellied weasel, 13-stripe squirrel, jack rabbit, cotton tail, and marmot are all residents of the Rio Ro Mo.
Details about our ranch are quite lengthy. I won’t waste your time with all of the details but if you would like, you may view photos of our ranch at www.rioromo.com.
Since we live in the country, our cell phone service is spotty at best. Please feel free to contact us via email if you have any questions.
Respectfully,
Margaret Culverwell, owner
