Mrs. Farias sent a message to Doug McMillon – President and Chief Executive Officer of Walmart Stores, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. McMillon: I just read an article in FB about Wal-Mart selling BLM apparel. IF this is accurate, I must say I am totally disappointed in Wal-Mart. This is not something expected of Wal-Mart. I have shopped there many many years and the thought of you allowing something like this is sad and angers me. As a customer of Wal-mart, this is not something that should be sold. Promoting these hate and anger filled individuals, and possibly terrorists groups is terrible. If this is in fact correct, I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart. This is very very offensive. Regardless of it being through a third party seller under you site, you should not permit this. by allowing this third party seller to sell these items, you are promoting this hate-filled group and encouraging it grow more than it already has, "Adding more fuel to the fire" one could say. You are also saying that you are in agreement with these individuals. If this is accurate, I will be sure and share this with all of my family and friends. I do not believe Wal-Mart would like to see their customers unhappy and do their shopping elsewhere. Thank you. I truly hope you are not in agreement with this.
