Dear Mr Nakata, Late last year I purchased a touring-grade speaker (DXR10) in the – Takuya Nakata email address

Dear Mr Nakata,

Late last year I purchased a touring-grade speaker (DXR10) in the UK. The unit failed after four months on tour in India.

I took it to the local (Indian) Yamaha service centre, who informed me that Yamahas seven-year warranty does not apply outside the area where I bought the speaker.

This is a serious concern. How can Yamaha not offer an international warranty on product be designed as a portable ?

I contacted Yamaha India about this, but they have so far proven very unhelpful.

I hope that by contacting you, I will receive a more sensible response.
