Jim sent a message to Michael O’Leary – CEO, Ryanair – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. O’ Leary. Hope you had a nice holiday in Portugal recently. We spotted you on the marina in Vilamora having a meal with the family. It’s a wonderful place.
I am writing to you on behalf of my daughter Ceiline. We flew from Farranfore to Portugal on the evening of 9th august 2016. Lovely seamless flight etc. On approach to our taxi however Ceiline noticed she had left her purse on the plane. As we had gone through passport check etc. we were not allowed back on the plane. Our taxi driver brought Ceiline to the Ryanair desk where she reported the missing purse- as it was the last flight of the day they told us the plane was locked and that the cleaners would be next on it and they would contact us next day if the purse showed up.
True to their word a text message at 8.30 am said purse was found and we duly took a taxi over.
Ceiline opened her purse on the instructions of the people at the desk to check was all intact. She discovered that €100 in the form of 2*€50 was missing. All that was left was €1.50 (which she subsequently gave to the taxi lady as a tip.) The aforementioned staff were shocked as was the female taxi driver that accompanied us. What made Ceiline cry that morning at the desk was that a photograph of her and her mother was also missing- she felt totally violated. To get this photo out one would have had a good root. Her cards-visa debit-Drivers licence etc. were also disrupted from their holders.
Why would anyone want that photo she asked through her tears? Surely your staff or staff contracted by you can be trusted to hand up a purse intact. i have a copy of the collection slip etc but cannot attach here.
Anyhow Michael I’ll leave it with you to look into it please
Thanks
Jim
