Jane sent a message to Michael O’Leary – CEO, Ryanair – Email Address that said:

Dear Mr O'Leary
On Saturday my 35 year old nephew passed away, very unexpectedly.
I was in Spain. I tried to rearrange my Easyjet flight from Faro to Gatwick, but all seats were sold out.
So, my husband drove me to Faro airport to see if I could get a flight anywhere to the UK. I could - Ryanair to Bournemouth, 2.30pm.
Before getting on the plane, I thought I had lost my boarding pass and asked for help from one of your cabin crew. I told her the reason for my travelling and why I was 'out of sorts'.
All was ok and I took my seat.
During the flight, every time this member of the cabin crew - a female, but sadly I didn't know her name, walked by me, she asked if I was ok and was there anything she could do for me.
Then as I left, she touch my arm, thanked me for travelling today and hoped that next time I flew Ryanair, it was in happier circumstances and she gave her condolences, once again, to me and my family.
Her words and actions made, what was one of the worst times in my life, a little easier to bare.
I wish I knew her name, because I would like you to pass this message on to her - thank you.
Kind regards
Jane
