Dear Mr. Parker, I am the Cross-Country and Track coach at Weatherly High School in Pennsylvania, about 2 hours from State College. We are a small Single A school and do not have a track. We have about 50 kids competing between the varsity and junior high teams. That is almost 10% of our total enrollment from K-12. We had 9 girls and 5 boys qualify for our District meet last season and had 4 medalists, despite having to practice on soccer fields and the parking lot. I would like to ask if there was any way that your company could help us in getting a track. It would cost close to a million dollars and there is no way we would ever raise that much money. We have some really good athletes and I feel like our kids would be able to do so much better with a regulation track and we as a school could host invitational meets with teams from the area. It may be a long shot, but would appreciate any advice or help your company can give me. Thank You. Paul, Weatherly Area Cross-Country and Track coach.
