Dear Mr. Penske, I am new owner operator in the fuel transport business. I decided – Roger S Penske

Herbert Ray McDuffie sent a message to Roger S Penske that said:

Dear Mr. Penske, I am new owner operator in the fuel transport business. I decided to buy my first truck from Penske. Truck #611036. 2012 Freightliner Cascadia Vin # 1FUJGEDV5CSBD6319 from Penske on Landstreet in Orlando, fl. I was told the process would take 2-3 weeks. It took nine weeks total. on week two I inspected the truck and its progress. I observed a bad oil leak from the head gasket. I was told by Mgt that this would be repaired. when I finally took delivery, I asked if it was fixed and was told by Mgt that it was not the head gasket but it was the rocker box and they took care of that. The first day I had it I noticed the leak day two my engine was covered in oil. I return it and another mechanic looked at and say "this is bad, its a blown head gasket". Now it has been sent to Detroit. The problem is I put 20,000 down and spent another 5000 in wheels and tire. I had a job with another owner operator. now there is no turning back. I have a payment due this month and am now forced to rent a truck from my company at a rate of 150.00 a day. I'm losing money and as a single father of two teenagers its getting very tough. They told me maybe a week but could take three weeks. I will be flat broke and evicted by then. Penske should have fixed it the first time as they knew about the leak. I'm a Military vet and did 18 years in law enforcement. I'm all about right and wrong. I was very patient. I need help making this right. Thanks in Advance..H Ray McDuffie
