As a loyal customer to Gamestop I am outraged not only by my store experience but by the lack of response from that district manager. Before i explain what happened you should know that i had filed a claim through the gamestop store issue dept. i was promised to hear back from someone with in 24 hours to discuss the matter. Well i called everyday and still no response back the rep even called the store and left a message for the district manager and no response in this serious matter. The following week i went to gamestop in fresh meadows queens, ny and i explained what happened to an associate named Ashley and she relayed the message to her district manager whom called me and he said sorry and said he does not understand why i have not received a call back anyways he said he would explain to the valley stream store district manager and tell him to contact me, he was so kind and it was not his store i had the issue in. But now another week is going by and still no calli think its disgusting the way i have been treated by everyone from that store, i am so saddened by this experience. So now i will inform you on what exactly happened, i go into valley stream gamestop to trafe in games and a console the manager Rhonda states in a disrespectful tone that i am missing the rca ac wire. So i leave and return shortly with the wire, games, and console. Now i am next on line and she says rolling her eyes and nasty that i have to wait because she has to ring ppl up, so i looked at her and she says why are you looking at me, i said because thats unfair because i am next, so she ignores me while i am saying i cannot wait i have to go and she proceeds to ring up other ppl so im standing there for 10 minutes and she is being so nice to the African American customers but unkind to me, i felt discrimated on also. Finally anotber associate enters and i am still telling Rhonda your being disrespectful to me thats so unfair ypu just pushed me to the side and shes laughing and tells the associate to take me. So the assiciate wipes clean my system and checks the otber items and i said the system is worth $46 so Rhonda whispers something to the associate and then tells me i am only giving you $18 and your lying your system is not worth $46, i said please check and you will see so she said well you have a scratch on it, by this time i was so upset, felt insulted i was embrassed, so i just said give me a total, the associate said $28 i said just give me ghost recon and she proceeds to take my debit card and id card , then 10 mi ures later she says i cannot take your system you brought back the wrong wire, i said your kidding me and they both laughed, i said but you wiped my system out already you cant give it back and she said watch me. I began to tear my heart was racing i just said give it to me and i left. An hour later later i checked my bank and i was charged the balance for a game i never left the store with. So now im charged $27.15 and they give me my game console and items back . I had to call my bank to dispute the charges and get my money returned that Rhinda robbed off my debit card. I have been calling everyday now its 3 weeks and that district manager will not contact me. I even went into that gamestop the next day because they never put the games i was returning back in my bag when they gave me back my console. And i said to Rhonda you stole money from me and never game me the game i asked her why she was so unkind and she just smiled never said sorry and i said how can you wipe my console clean and then return it to me and again the nasty attitude came on and she said leave my store . Thats when i went to gamestop in fresh meadows on 188st in queens where not only was my trade in value for all was $77 and Rhonda said $28 to me but where Ashley and her district manager reached out to me. So now 3 weeks later and still no call from valley stream gamestop district manager. I think thats so unprofessional and that whole store should be ashamed of themselves. I was degraded, embrassed. Humiliated, most of all disrespected and for that district manager not to want to listen to my experience just lets me now gamestop puts no value on goid customers. Thank you so much for your time.
