louis sent a message to Glenn M. Renwick – Chief Executive Officer and President of Progressive Corporation – Email Address that said:
dear mr. renwick:this is regarding claim number .. of your adjusters has ignored overwhelming evidence of the fault of your insured who sideswiped my parked vehicle and then attempted to leave the scene of the accident .fortunately a neighbor of mine was passing by and your insured was forced to return.he admitted liabilty to me,the witness,and told the police that he was trying to park his truck and did not see my vehicle.two reports corroborating this have been sent to your adjuster who was provided this information on the day of the incident.nevertheless your adjuster has not paid for the damage and on two occassions has recommended that i put the claim through my own carrier.(a blatant code violation)her excuse is that she is still investigating and that this is my word against your insured.(a dispute your insured denies by the way)i would appreciate if you would intervene so that i need not sue.if i must sue ,the fact that your insured left the scene entitles me to punitive damages.thank you in advance for your prompt attention
