Dear Mr Robo,
I am a hurricane IRMA survivor in Charlotte county. I felt that you needed to know how unprepared Charlotte county FPL was for the hurricane. Charlotte county knew the hurricane was coming for 2 weeks and failed to order enough transformers to supply all of Charlotte county. Now here I sit 6 days later still with no power because FPL is waiting on more transformers to supply our area. Why you ask because the transformers that FPL did have went to hospitals and restaurants. I see that you are sitting nice and cushy with your power on in NY. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! I will be sending you a bill for my hotel stay which is $500. I will be sending you a bill for all my food that went bad. I am sending you a bill for all my asthma medication that I had to use. You are lucky I do not sue you for lack of preparedness leading to negligence. Did you see that 8 elderly people died due to lack of power????!!! I challenge you to come to Florida and see what people are going through. FPL should had ordered enough transformers for the whole state and had them ready to go!!!! One more thing, why is the EAST coast getting turned on before the WEST coast. Do they donate more money!!!! FPL is estimating that we will be out of power for 12 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF this wasnt a monopoly I would get a new power company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
