Dear Mr Rodriguez,
I just wanted to inform you of how disappointed I was by the actions for some of your employees at the ADP Presidents Club held August 2016 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort, Hawaii.
I was there on a family holiday with my 9-year-old daughter for 6 days during this events (75% of my vacation) and was very upset by the behaviour of some of the employees attending this event.
For example, we were at the Kona pool (a family pool) one day and had to leave so that our daughter did not overhear the extremely loud conversations that were taking place around us with excessive amount of swearing and adult content.
There was no consideration to the other guests (a lot of them being families at this FAMILY pool). Employees were eating and drinking in the pool and taking over large areas. Two individuals playing ball games in the pool had no consideration of me sitting on the edge and continued to splash me during their game, making no effort to move away from me until in the end I moved. Seeing all attending were wearing wrist bands it was easy to identify who was part of the Presidents Club.
I have always had it instilled in me that when attending company functions, you are representing the company and therefore your actions are the impression that he public will have of that organisation. I do not see this as a very good advertisement for your company. I have been on a Presidents Club myself, but we were expected to be respectful of the paying guests and aware of the families (with young children) around us.
I understand that these are people who are letting their hair down after having a successful year and are having fun, but their fun should not have been at the expense of my and other family’s fun and more consideration of that should have been made, or instilled in those attending the Presidents Club.
Unfortunately, it does not change my familys experience, but by informing you I hope that future families do not have to experience the same thing.
Yours sincerely,
Diane
