Joseph sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge – Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Rutledge, Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communication, Inc.,
I am contacting you because of a problem that has occurred with our newly installed cable package.
On September 7, 2016 Mister Gilbert Johnson, a very nice person stopped by our home and introduced me to the programs that Time Warner-Spectrum offered.
I decided to accept the offer from Mr. Johnson.
The program would allow us to save some money and get what we needed, including the Philippine Channel-TFC (Number 1451 in the cable listing), a very important channel for my elder mother-in-law and which I had expressly requested.
This past Saturday: September 24, 2016, a technician-a very nice person came over and installed the equipment.
Since then, we found out that the Philippine-TFC may have been part of the package on September 7, 2016 but not as of this past Saturday.
I called the customer service line Sunday: September 25, 2016 and spoke with a Ms. Janice: a very nice person, and today: September 26, 2016 and spoke with a Mr. Sean: another very nice person. Yesterday I was told by a supervisor through Ms. Janice that the Philippine Channel either was too expensive or not available in our area; she recommended to call today for a clarification.
This morning Mr. Sean told me that since Time Warner and Charter Communication merged in our area the Philippine Channel was removed and not available.
As I stated above, the Philippine Channel was part of the offering then and we would like to have now. My mother-in-law is elderly and disabled, and loves to watch the programs offered by the Philippine Channel as many other people of Philippine ancestry do. She wants it installed as we were promised.
Please respond to me with good news about this matter because if not possible we have to switch back to Verizon/Frontier and we don’t want to.
Sincerely,
Joseph
