Dear Mr. Schwarzman,
I am very concerned with the lack of economic leadership and planning for global welfare exhibited by our president when he pulled the United States out of the Paris Accord. You chair his business advisory council. I call on you to follow the example of Tesla and Disney and resign from this council. I ask you, how can you support a decision which gives countries such as China the moral high ground when it comes to climate change? Our NATO/business partners are truly dismayed and can no longer count on a United States who will take the lead in clean energy policies. Our job growth in these new technologies in the past 10 years has been around 11 million. Implementing clean energies is good business and crucial to our environment.
Finally, I appeal to you for our future generations. They will judge us harshly when dealing with stifling heat, rising ocean levels wiping out coastlines, and an increase in tropical diseases along with severe drought in many areas. Please do your part to show you do not support a business decision that is not based on any valid data and is detrimental to our world.
