Dear Mr. Smith,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing you to ask if I may be given a grant or scholarship for my 17 year old daughter Amelia who is going to college this fall 2016. She graduated from Independence High this year. She will be a freshman at North Carolina Central University.
I was hoping to get a mailing address so I could send you a letter. Thank you very much.
