Dear Mr Stack, I am writing to you on behalf of my son Matthew Wedding – Edward W Stack email address

Kyra sent a message to Edward W. Stack – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dick’s Sporting Goods – Email Address that said:

Dear Mr Stack,
I am writing to you on behalf of my son Matthew Wedding. He has worked for one of your top stores for the past 2.5 years. Store # 431 dept the Lodge. He was terminated on Wednesday August 10th 2016. He has never had a ride up he has never been late for work he has 11 wow pins from your company and two of them were defender pins for catching people shoplifting at your store. He has opened and helped open new stores in Denver and Boulder and has gone out of his way to perform for your company. On Wednesday, August 10 he was terminated from his job without even anybody higher up looking into this. For writing a personal note to a customer!!!!. I thought that your company would be a better company than this. Instead of degrading people and terminating their jobs I really believe that you all should be looking in to their quality of work and what they do for your company. He shouldve been being groomed for an assistant manager or manager of your stores. Im a little biased because he is my son and I also need to stand up for him and his rights because he is a twentysomething year-old. . I really hope this email gets to you and you were able to look into this I have called multiple news channels and I will make this go viral just due to the principle of the situation. He is been a good employee for you and now he has no job and he loved his job there. He had three managers go to bat for him and risk their job to tell the district manager Matthew Wedding. worked at store number 431 with 11 wow pins in two years. Two of those being the defender pin as I said. He worked in the lodge. He deserves his job back and deserves a chance!!! This is simply ridiculous and maybe your HR dept also needs a class in looking past paperwork and looking into your employees over all ratings. Those people are the ones who make your business the one that it is. Not your HR dept. I am truly disappointed and will continue to spread this I information. It is time that the little people who hold down your businesses are acknowledged and appreciated for all they do. Matthew
Thank you for your time, Kyra
