Congratulations on your nomination of the US Secretary of State! I am a big fan of President Trump’s program to finding a way to cooperate with Russia by focusing on shared national interest, and the secretary of state will play a key role in the US international affairs, including relations with Russia. I am an USA citizen and want to apply my experience and expertise to help to rebuild the U.S.-Russia relationship based on shared interest in health care, prevention of infection diseases, science and other areas of mutual interest.
I have an M.D. (doctor of medicine) degree with honor with training in Internal Medic with an additional Doctor of Medical Science degree (highest academic qualification awarded in the former Soviet Republic) and Ph.D. from Russia. Also I am an Academic of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. I have excellent knowledge of public health (Ministry of Public Health and Hospital system) and academia systems (Russian Academy and University) in Russia. In 1993 I immigrated to the United States and became an U.S. citizen in 2004. I was supervising a research laboratory and published multiple pioneering works in immunology and vaccine development (including HIV/AIDS vaccine) in elite journals.
I believe I have excellent knowledge of health care, science and Academia systems in both countries - the United States and Russia. I would like to contribute my expertise in assisting you and President Trump to rebuild the U.S.-Russia relationship based on shared national interest. I would be happy to meet with you and/or the members of your team in person to discuss this further!
