Dear Mr. Toyodo, I had been looking for about two years for a good used – Akio Toyoda email address

Retha Greene sent a message to Akio Toyoda President and CEO, Toyota Motor Corporation - email address that said:

Dear Mr. Toyodo,
I had been looking for about two years for a good used Toyota and came across a 2000 Tundra with only a little over 29,000 miles on it. It belonged to a man who had passed away and his wife was selling it. It had a new frame from a recall l on it. I had taken it in to my local Toyota dealership for service and to check the emergency brake light that was on. They told me that the cable had rusted into and that other bolts, hubs, axel and several things were rusted so bad that the rear end might fall out. This is going to be very expensive. Why would a truck with only a little over 29,000 miles rust so bad? I have heard that a Toyota was the best truck to buy. Why did they not catch this when they put the new frame on for that man that owned it at the time? I know I am a woman and know some about vehicles but not a lot, and hope that I am not being taken advantage of, but I thought Toyota made their vehicles to last. Do you have any answers for me?
Thank you for your time,
Retha Greene
