Kristin sent a message to Antonio Urcelay Chairman and CEO, Toys R Us, Inc. that said:

Dear Mr. Urcelay, I would like to first start off by saying that your company has provided impeccable customer service and your employees are always eager to help when needed. In March 2014, I gave birth to my baby girl and I was showered with great gifts from our registry at Babies R Us. We chose Babies R Us to register, because of the great service we received when we were shopping for furniture for the nursery. I felt like your employees were genuinely excited for me and readily available to answer any questions that I had; which I did, being a new mom. We asked for recommendations for a safe yet cost efficient car seat. We ended up purchasing a Graco car seat and 2 bases for this particular seat. It was recommended with great enthusiasm. We were told that this car seat was ideal for newborns-2 years old. My daughter is 9 months old and incredibly uncomfortable in this car seat. We have removed all "extras" to give her more room, but it always seems that we are cramming her into the car seat. I find it very hard to believe that she will be able to use this car seat until she is two years old. (She is 9 months and only in the 20% for height and weight) In addition to the car seat being too small; the top 25 safest car seats in 2014 recently came out and I was astonished to find out her car seat was not even in the top 25. I researched and found a Britax car seat at your store that is the same price and can be used from 5lbs-40lbs. It was also listed in the top 25 safest car seats. I think this car seat would have been much more ideal for my daughter and it actually looks as if it could fit a two year old; unlike the Graco that we purchased. I just wanted to express my frustration with you, because like stated above I have been very satisfied with your company in the past and the knowledge that they have of the products that they sell. But recently I have become increasingly upset thinking that maybe I should have chosen elsewhere to register. I have always appreciated the knowledge of your employees, but I definitely feel that more "classes" should be given on car seats so that your employees are recommending or suggesting with competence. Thanks for taking the time to read my concerns. Sincerely,  Kristin
