Dear Mr. Urcelay, As CEO of Toys R Us I though you would like to hear directly from me regarding a matter, which has left me a loyal consumer for many years, totally disenchanted and disgusted with your company. As a new grandmother, on 12/11/14, I visited your Bay Shore, Long Island location and purchased a Mamas and Papas 2 stage baby snug seat as a Christmas gift for my new granddaughter, Alexa Rose. On 1/1/2015, while visiting my son for a New Year's Day celebration with his inlaws , he decided to set up the infant seat . Upon taking the product out of the box we noticed the tray to be filthy. Upon turning it over, it was covered in what appeared to be BLACK MOLD. I can send you pictures if you like. I know that your corporate vision and values are based on the trust parents place in you to deliver products that are safe, reliable. This incident could have resulted in serious medical situation, which could have impacted my granddaughter's health for years to come ( asthma, lung disease, blood infection, who knows). My point is that I feel you need to pay closer attention to product safety and the training provided to your employees when re-shelving products. I will be returning this product tomorrow 1/2/15, to your Toys R Us Bayshore , NY 11706 location. As CEO of this company, I expect you will take this matter very seriously as you are ultimately responsible for consumer safety and quality assurance.
