Dear Mr. Vasos,
First and foremost merry Christmas! I am an entry level cashier at store in Columbus, OH. Great news we beat our projected sales last night, Christmas eve, not an easy feat for a new store. From 4pm to 10pm, store hours, my assistant manager Justin, our new hire Trey, and myself handled significant sales. During the day, store manager Matthew, and key holder Taylor did likewise. We three closing workers stayed an extra hour placing the sales tags for Monday.
We have great customers, thankful for our being open a few hours later than all of our competitors both large and small. I appreciated the opportunity to introduce our store to more people who had yet to discover us, as we've only been here for about 5 months.
If you happen to read this, you can no doubt sense the however coming. So let me stop and not deliver it, for it's Christmas! I see great potential for our stores, perhaps for myself, but yet unrealized. I think large and small, mentioned a Redbox at our location, don't think anyone listened. Perhaps at the beginning of a new year, you might consider striking up a conversation with an entry level employee like me.
